Authentication

Authentication is the act of proving an assertion, such as the identity of a computer system or a User. In contrast to Identification, the act of indicating a person or thing’s identity, Authorization is the process of verifying that identity.

Open Ecosystem, which is built upon the “Never Trust, Always Verify” Zero Trust Architecture, mandates Authentication not only for individuals, but also for applications.
